This accessory allows you to update your LumeGen 8ft LED tube from it's original FA8 base to R17D base. You remove the FA8 to expose the G13 pins underneath and then install this R17D adapter to the G13 pins to successfully convert your LumeGen 8ft LED tube to R17D base. For use with select LumeGen tubes like LEDT88F1000050754.
